Ski Schools

Four major schools, half a dozen high-end private-instructor agencies. The choice usually comes down to language preference, group size and how flexible the schedule needs to be.

Book ahead — peak weeks (Christmas, February school holidays, New Year) fill up by October. The palace hotels handle most bookings, but you can book directly with every school below.

    The largest school, with the deepest bench of instructors at every level. Group lessons run in English, French, Russian and Italian. Best value for children's group lessons.

  • Magic in Motion

    International school

    Boutique alternative with smaller groups (max 6) and English-first instruction. Strong children's programme — kids stay with the same instructor all week.

  • Oxygène

    British-French school

    British-staffed school with private lessons and small-group adult clinics. Especially good for off-piste and freeride coaching.

  • New Generation

    British school

    Career-instructor model — most teachers have been in the resort 5+ seasons. All-English instruction, premium pricing.

  • Supreme Ski School

    British-Australian

    Small-group and private lessons across all levels. Known for flexible scheduling and pickup at chalet doors.

  • Ski Squad

    Private agency

    Booking agency that pairs guests with hand-picked independent instructors. Best for ultra-private requests and last-minute peak-week bookings.
