Terms of Use
A short, plain-English agreement covering how you may use this guide, what our editorial content is (and isn’t), and the limits of our responsibility.

By using Courchevel-1850-Resort.com (“the site”, “we”, “us”) you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What this site is
We are an independent editorial guide to the resort of Courchevel 1850. We are not the official tourist office, and we are not a travel agent, tour operator or booking platform. We accept no payment for editorial coverage: hotels, restaurants and other businesses cannot buy their way onto our pages. Where we mention a service, we are describing it — not selling it, and not acting as an intermediary in any contract you may enter with a third-party provider.
Accuracy of information
We take real care with our reporting, but a mountain resort changes constantly: prices, opening dates, lift status, menus, ski-school programmes and hotel details move from season to season. Information here is offered in good faith for general guidance and may become out of date. Always confirm the details that matter — especially prices, dates and availability — directly with the relevant hotel, restaurant, ski school or official resort service before you rely on them.
Enquiries and third parties
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we may help point you toward suitable providers, but any booking, payment or contract is strictly between you and that provider. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, pricing or service quality of any third party, nor for external websites we link to, which are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Intellectual property
All text, photography, layout and design on this site are our property or used under licence, and are protected by copyright. You may read, share and link to our pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, copy, scrape or redistribute our content — in whole or in part — without our written permission. Working journalists should see the press note on our About page.
Advertising
The site may display advertising served by third parties, including Google. Adverts are clearly distinct from our editorial content and never influence it. How advertising cookies work, and how to opt out, is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content, including decisions made about travel, bookings or expenditure. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Governing law & changes
These terms are governed by French law, and the courts of France have jurisdiction over any dispute. We may update these terms as the site evolves; the “last updated” date above shows the current version. Questions? Reach us through our contact form.
