The Michelin Corridor

Thirteen Michelin stars across eight kitchens — twelve of them within Courchevel 1850 itself. The village carries the highest density of starred dining in any ski resort, anywhere.

The corridor runs from Le Jardin Alpin (Cheval Blanc, Airelles) up through the centre (Strato, Chabichou) and on to the K2 group. You could, in theory, walk between every starred table in under twenty minutes.

The starred kitchens

  • Le 1947 — Cheval Blanc

    ★★★ · Yannick Alléno

Modern French haute cuisine; one of only two three-star restaurants in any ski resort on earth.

  • Baumanière 1850 — Le Strato

    ★★ · Thomas Prod'homme

Provençal precision at altitude — the alpine extension of L'Oustau de Baumanière.

  • Le Sarkara — K2 Palace

    ★★ · Sébastien Vauxion

The world's only two-star restaurant built entirely around dessert.

  • L'Altitude — K2 Altitude

    ★ · Duchemin & Sessa

The intimate table at K2 Altitude — a new one-star arrival in the 2026 Guide.

  • Alpage — Hôtel Annapurna

    ★ · Jean-Rémi Caillon

Alpine produce and precise technique at the highest hotel in 1850.

  • Le Chabichou

    ★ · Stéphane Buron

Terroir-driven cuisine in the historic twin-towered Chabichou chalet.

  • Le Farçon — La Tania

    ★ · Julien Machet

A short drive below 1850 — the most quietly serious one-star in the valley.
